In Suicide, the goal is to loose all your pieces, even the King ! All pieces move the same way as in regular chess, but Suicide chess has some different rules :
1 - Castling is not permitted.
2 - If you can capture an opponent's piece, you must do so. If more than one capture is possible , you can choose which one to make.
3 - Treat the king as just a regular piece. There is no check or checkmate. The King can be captured, and you can promote a pawn to a King.

The stalemate case is particular : There are different rules depending where you play your game.
1 - FICS stalemate rule : The player with less pieces win. If both player have an equal number of resting pieces : The game is draw.
2 - The international stalement rule : The player who cannot move wins.
This little difference doesn't affect strategy. We do use the FICS rules on suicidechess.ca .
